This ‘eco-accommodation’ is designed to have minimal impact on the surrounding environment and can be dismantled and removed with virtually no trace of its being there. Eco-friendly finishings are also utilised and the result is a glamping experience with all of the creature comforts and connection with the natural environment. Situated to maximise the feeling of privacy, live the fascinating world of the explorer through a night spent in this pure, unspoilt environment. Situated just under a kilometre from the main farm village, reception area and restaurant in the Divers Creek accommodation area.

Inclusions:
The little tidal creek commonly known as Divers Creek was the perfect natural harbour for ourold wooden Luggers. It provided protection from cyclones, a convenient place to unload the valuable pearl shell and re-provision for the next adventure out to the pearling beds. The old stack jetty can still be seen in the creek. Today the area and the old buildings are heritage listed for the significant part it all played in pioneering the Australian cultured pearling industry. The old shacks are the result of many peoples collective effort and hard work. Starting from makeshift campsites, people gradually made life morecomfortable by building basic little shacks which slowly evolved over time to boast such features as concrete floors, fly screens, louvre windows, running water, and even electricity!
You can now stay in the Skipper’s Cottage, Stone House and Diver’s Quarters.

Built by James Brown as his family home, this three-bedroom private pearlers’ retreat is the ultimate in exclusive isolation set alone on a headland with sweeping bay views and private beach. It comes equipped kitchen and inside bathrooms. Aircon, power and linen provided. Looking for something special, arrange transfers via helicopter or boat! or even let our chef cook a private meal for you on the verandah overlooking the bay! This house is situated about 20-minute drive from main Pearling Village and requires a minimum two-night stay.
