An all-day adventure, off the beaten track and into traditional lands Experience the powerful tides of the Horizontal Falls via power boat and discover the highlights of the Dampier Peninsula.

Travel overland up the Dampier Peninsula through unique Kimberley landscape before visiting Beagle Bay Aboriginal Community and the famous Mother of Pearl Church, at the tip of the peninsula reach Cygnet Bay for a fascinating tour of Australia’s oldest pearl farm.

Two delicious meals include a hot breakfast and lunch of locally sourced barramundi served in either of the spectacular settings of Cygnet Bay or on our floating dining pontoon at the Horizontal Falls.

Sections of the trip may be bumpy as some of the roads are unsealed.

At booking, please indicate your preference for either a morning or afternoon flight, subject to availability. While the same inclusions, meals, and activities remain, the order of the tour may change due to operational requirements.

What to Bring

Our Horizontal Falls Seaplane Adventure tours are well prepared and planned. It’s our job to take you on an adventure, it’s your job to enjoy it.

We spend a lot of time and effort ensuring that all our tours are meticulously planned and prepared for our guests’ enjoyment. There is only a handful of things you will need to bring when going on our tour:

  • A small bag or backpack (no more than 2kg)
  • Refillable water bottle
  • Sun protection
  • Camera
  • Change of clothes
  • Closed toe footwear (no thongs)
  • Swimwear and towel
  • Any personal medication or essential toiletries you require

Please note, alcohol consumption is not permitted on this tour. Alcoholic beverages can be purchased and consumed at Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm only during the tour.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is alcohol available to purchase on full day tours?

For safety reasons, no alcohol is to be consumed on full day tours. Overnight guests are welcome to purchase alcoholic drinks from the bar onboard the pontoon which opens at 5pm daily. For Luxury Overnight Stay guests, alcoholic beverages are included within their tour.

What is the difference between Drive/Fly (DF) and Fly/Drive (FD)?

The main difference between the DF and FD tours is the order of activities.

In the FD option, guests start by flying from Broome to Horizontal Falls, then continue with a bus tour of the Dampier Peninsula, including stops at Cygnet Bay and Beagle Bay before returning to Broome by bus.

Conversely, the DF option begins with a bus ride to the Dampier Peninsula, where guests visit Beagle Bay and Cygnet Bay, before taking a seaplane to Horizontal Falls for the latter part of the tour, ending with a flight back to Broome.

Both tours offer the same thrilling experiences, just in a different sequence.
